Role Overview

As an Instrumentation Automation Engineer, you will be entrusted with the critical task of developing Data Acquisition and Control Systems for multiple Test Instrumentation setups such as Thermal Chambers, Power Sources, Battery Cyclers, and more.

These Systems will

• Use multiple embedded and IoT platforms including Arduino, Raspberry PI, and ESP32.
• Use Communication protocols such as Modbus and VISA (Virtual Instrument Software Architecture) over RS485 and TCP/IP.
• Utilize databases like SQLite and PostgreSQL to manage and store data efficiently.
• Provide Test Data Visualization and Reporting tools

We are a deep-tech startup building next-generation components for energy storage and conversion. We leverage advanced R&D and manufacturing workflows in electrochemical materials, nanotechnology, and membrane science. We are seeking Instrumentation and Automation Engineers as interns to work on impactful, real-world projects that combine rapid prototyping and deep-tech applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Data Acquisition and Control Systems for various Test Instrumentation Systems
• An Integrated Test System to test Hydrogen Electrolyser Cells and Redox-Flow Battery Systems.

Technologies Involved

• Embedded and IoT Platforms: Arduino, Raspberry PI, ESP32
• Communication Protocols: Modbus and VISA over RS485, TCP/IP
• Databases: SQLite, PostgreSQL

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
• Experience in Embedded and IoT Software Development with at least one of the following platforms - Arduino, Raspberry PI, and ESP32.
• Hands-on experience in working with embedded, micro controller boards, sensor integration.

Education Qualifications

• B.E./ M.Tech/ M.E. - EEE/ECE/Instrumentation - Freshers who have passed out
