Interior Estimator

As an Interior Estimator, your role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects by reviewing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation. You will collaborate with project managers, designers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates. - Evaluating materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements for interior works such as flooring, ceilings, partitions, furniture, lighting, and MEP finishes. - Requesting and analyzing quotations from vendors and subcontractors. - Preparing detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for interior fit-out projects. - Developing cost summaries and pricing sheets for tenders and proposals. - Coordinating with design and procurement teams to align estimates with current design intent and market rates. - Updating cost databases and estimation tools regularly. - Assisting project management teams in budgeting, value engineering, and cost control during execution. - Attending site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations when necessary. You should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in estimation within the interior design or fit-out industry. - Proficiency in estimation software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MS Excel. - Strong understanding of interior construction materials, methods, and market prices. - Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
