Syntax Design Lab is looking for a talented, driven, and design-obsessed Interior Architect with 2+ years of experience to join our growing team in Chennai.

If you thrive in a collaborative studio environment, bring fresh ideas to the table, and can confidently take a project from concept to execution, we’d love to meet you.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for space planning, interior design, and the execution of interior fit-out projects.
• developing detailed architectural drawings & overseeing project timelines
• Create mood boards, material palettes, and specifications
• Work on high-end residential projects with layered storytelling
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and craftsmen to bring designs to life
• Integrating sustainable practices and optimizing functionality and aesthetics in all projects.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of professional interior design experience (residential preferred)
• Strong grasp of space planning, detailing, and materiality
• Knowledge in Architecture and designing structural elements
• Capabilities in Interior Fit-out and overseeing project execution
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Excellent communication and client-handling abilities
• Proactive mindset with an eye for craft and context
