Interior Designer Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in creating design concepts and plans.
• Support in the selection of furniture, fabrics, and materials.
• Prepare detailed drawings and mood boards for client presentations.
• Conduct site visits to measure and photograph spaces.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to source materials.
• Update project documentation and maintain organization of design files.
• Participate in team meetings and client consultations.
• Help ensure projects meet deadlines and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment or recent graduation from an accredited interior design program.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creativity.
• Basic understanding of spatial planning and design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
