Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong design sensibilities, technical expertise in interior design software, and excellent client management skills. As an Interior Designer at Elysian Interiors, you will be responsible for creating impactful designs, coordinating project details with our execution team, and managing client expectations throughout the design journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Conceptualization:
• Develop original and compelling interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Create detailed floor plans and design layouts using AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and other relevant software.
• Provide visual presentations, 3D renderings, and mood boards for client review.
• Production Drawings & Technical Detailing:
• Prepare precise production drawings and detailed schematics.
• Ensure all technical details are specified to facilitate smooth execution.
• Support the execution team with accurate drawings and assist in troubleshooting design challenges on-site.
• Client Meetings & Communication:
• Conduct client meetings to understand design goals, preferences, and budget requirements.
• Present design proposals, address feedback, and maintain open communication throughout the project.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships for long-term satisfaction.
• Project Execution & Site Coordination:
• Collaborate with the project and production team to ensure that designs are executed as planned.
• Visit project sites to oversee progress and quality, addressing any discrepancies that may arise.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material selection and delivery.
• Documentation & Quotation Preparation:
• Draft quotations, cost estimates, and project timelines based on client needs and project requirements.
• Manage project budgets to align with client expectations and minimize cost overruns.
• Market & Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technological advancements within the industry.
• Incorporate innovative ideas to enhance design quality and add value to client projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an interior design role.
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, MS Excel, and Vray.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of production drawings and technical detailing.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in design layout, measurements, and material selection.
