As the Interior Designer cum Sales Executive at Woods Decor, your primary responsibility will be to offer personalized design consultations, craft customized interior solutions, and drive sales. You will leverage your artistic flair in interior design along with your strategic sales acumen to ensure that clients not only receive outstanding service but also invest in purchases that elevate their living spaces. In your role, you will begin by conducting detailed consultations with clients to grasp their design preferences, lifestyle requirements, and budget constraints. Subsequently, you will develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and layout plans that resonate with the client's vision. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance on furniture selection, color palettes, materials, and overall aesthetics. To excel in sales execution, you will identify and pursue sales opportunities by fostering strong relationships with clients and comprehending their needs. Meeting or surpassing sales targets will involve advocating and selling Woods Decor's product range, which includes bespoke and luxury items. Your role will also entail preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations, incorporating product demonstrations and quotations. In terms of project management, you will oversee the implementation of design projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Collaborating with suppliers, artisans, and contractors will be essential to ensure seamless delivery and installation of furniture and interior elements. Additionally, you will manage client expectations and uphold transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle. For effective customer relationship management, you will cultivate enduring relationships with clients by delivering exceptional post-sales support and follow-up. Timely and professional resolution of client concerns and inquiries will be crucial. Furthermore, gathering and analyzing customer feedback will aid in enhancing service offerings and boosting client satisfaction. Your collaboration skills will be put to use as you closely collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align design strategies with sales objectives. You will participate in promotional events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase Woods Decor's products and services. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with proven experience in interior design and sales, preferably within the luxury furniture or home decor industry. A strong portfolio showcasing design expertise and creativity is essential, as are excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is preferred. A customer-centric approach and a passion for crafting beautiful spaces are key attributes sought for this position.
