Role Description

Job Title: Faculty – Interior Design

Timings: Monday to Saturday, 10am-6pm

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Interior Design Faculty to join our academic team. The role involves teaching, mentoring students, developing course content, and guiding design projects to ensure students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in interior design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in Interior Design, including design principles, space planning, furniture design, materials, CAD software, and related subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assignments in line with the curriculum.
• Guide students in studio work, projects, and portfolio development.
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
• Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and industry practices, and integrate them into teaching.
• Organize workshops, guest lectures, and site/industry visits for practical exposure.
• Assess student performance through evaluations, examinations, and project reviews.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of academic programs.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and institutional activities.
• Support students in competitions, exhibitions, and research-based activities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of interior design concepts, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students creatively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred (but not always mandatory).
• Industry experience in interior design projects will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
