The Design Consultant is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on window furnishing solutions, from initial design concepts to final installation. This client-facing role requires a blend of creativity, technical knowledge of window treatments, and strong sales skills to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation and Design:
• Conduct in-home or in-office design consultations to understand client needs, preferences, budget, and style.
• Provide expert recommendations on fabric selections, color coordination, styles (e.g., drapery, blinds, shutters), and functional solutions (e.g., light control, motorization, privacy).
• Present design proposals, product demos, and sample kits to customers to help visualize the final product.
• Measurement and Planning:
• Take accurate on-site measurements to ensure precise planning and seamless installation.
• Develop design plans, including sketches or digital representations, that meet client needs and technical specifications.
• Sales and Project Management:
• Support sales growth by converting design consultations into confirmed orders and achieving sales targets.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with installation teams and other professionals (architects, interior designers, contractors) to ensure successful project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and orders using CRM tools and internal systems.
• Product Knowledge and Trends:
• Stay updated on the latest trends, innovations, materials, and technologies in the curtain, blinds, and window furnishing industry.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company's quality and service standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 2-5+ years) in design, sales, or a related field, preferably with specific experience in curtains, blinds, or home furnishings.
• Design & Technical Skills:
• Expertise in fabric selection, color theory, design principles, and various window treatment systems.
• Ability to use design software (e.g., CAD) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding measurements and specifications.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-driven, organized, and passionate about design and customer service.

Working Conditions:
This role typically involves a mix of in-home/on-site client visits and office/showroom time. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
