Job Description

Job Description Responsibilities : Design, develop, and configure Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). Implement and customize Guidewire Gosu code, configurations, and integrations. Develop and maintain Guidewire plugins, extensions, and web services. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Guidewire platform. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides. Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date with the latest Guidewire releases and industry trends. Configure and manage Guidewire integration with external systems. Implement and maintain data models and database schemas within the Guidewire platform. Required Skills 3+ years of experience in Guidewire development. Strong proficiency in Guidewire Gosu programming language. Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite configuration and development. Understanding of insurance domain concepts and workflows. Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and integration technologies. Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems. Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Bonus Skills Guidewire certifications (e., ACE). Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire deployments. Experience with automated testing frameworks for Guidewire. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (ref:hirist.tech) Show more Show less
