Job Description

Job Title : MuleSoft :
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in technical development using MuleSoft (preferably Mule 4 and Studio 7).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement APIs from specification to deployment using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Work extensively with Anypoint Studio, Design Center, Exchange, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services and ensure seamless communication across systems.
  • Apply best practices in API-led connectivity and reusable asset design.

Technical Expertise Required

  • Strong understanding of web services and integration technologies including RAML, YAML, REST, JSON, XML, and SOAP.
  • Experience in implementing security protocols for APIs including SSL certificates, keystores, and authentication methods such as Basic Auth and OAuth 2.
  • Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, or Insomnia.
  • Familiarity with data flow and sequence diagrams.
  • Experience working in CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, and MUnit.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and deployment automation.

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Visio, for documentation and presentations.
  • Solid grasp of API design patterns and decomposition into reusable components.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, especially within product-oriented delivery teams.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Open to feedback and able to incorporate suggestions through design/code reviews.
  • Comfortable working in a globally distributed team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Project Managers.
  • Capable of creating and maintaining key development deliverables such as design specifications and test plans
