Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our hardware and embedded systems team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in embedded C programming, microcontroller-based development, and working with communication protocols and wireless technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing firmware for embedded systems used in applications such as home automation and IoT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems using Embedded C.
  • Work with microcontrollers and integrate with hardware components.
  • Design and debug firmware for communication protocols, including BLE and LoRaWAN.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers on PCB layout design and schematic development.
  • Interface with Linux-based systems for embedded applications.
  • Optimise firmware for performance, reliability, and power efficiency.
  • Participate in system architecture design and contribute to the product development lifecycle.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of firmware and hardware integration.
  • Document firmware design, architecture, and testing Skills :
  • Proficiency in Embedded C and firmware development
  • Experience with Linux, Keil, and microcontroller programming
  • Knowledge of BLE, LoRaWAN, and other wireless communication protocols
  • Strong understanding of PCB layout design, schematic design, and hardware integration
  • Familiarity with home automation systems and IoT technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional Qualifications :
  • Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with RTOS and low-power embedded systems
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
