Job Description

You will be reporting to the Cluster head and will be responsible for managing the sale of Life Insurance products to the clientele of the Bank across channels and all cities in that region. Your main focus will be on analyzing and satisfying the financial and Insurance needs and objectives of the customers. Your responsibilities will include generating new business to achieve defined sales and revenue targets, maintaining thorough knowledge of the products being sold, creating comparisons of similar products in other companies, managing an effective Sales Tracker, attending trainings to improve sales quality, providing timely MIS reports, liaising with Insurance Company representatives, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and checking the required documents and forms. The minimum qualification required for this role is graduation, along with experience in Sales and relationship management. Experience in a similar role in the financial industry would be advantageous. You should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to influence customers, a focus on internal customer satisfaction and servicing, and technical ability and personal effectiveness. Additionally, you must be IRDA certified before commencing servicing or closing leads. You will be expected to display exemplary conduct and adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Personal responsibility for embedding high ethical standards, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank is crucial. You should lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles and effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in Insurance, Bancassurance, and product knowledge.
