Instrumentation Engineer

Position: Instrumentation Engineer Sub Lead (SPI Experience Required) Experience: 8 to 14 Years Qualification: Degree in Instrumentation or relevant engineering discipline Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instrumentation Engineer Sub Lead with strong expertise in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) and involvement in procurement activities . The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing instrumentation engineering tasks for onshore oil and gas projects , coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting the lead engineer in ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate instrumentation engineering activities in line with project requirements. Utilize SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) for design, documentation, and data management. Prepare instrument index, IO lists, data sheets, wiring, loop diagrams, and hookup drawings. Support procurement activities including preparation of MR, TBE, vendor coordination, and technical bid evaluations. Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations. Interface with other disciplines, project teams, and clients to ensure alignment and smooth execution. Mentor and guide junior team members as part of a collaborative engineering team.
