Instrumentation Engineer

As an Instrumentation Supervisor, your role involves planning and supervising the execution of routine and non-routine projects, shutdowns, preventive and breakdown activities to ensure optimal performance of instruments and systems. You are responsible for understanding and documenting ISO-9001/14001 standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Installing only tested equipment and devices in the field with independent work exposure in Delta V Emerson DCS and understanding integration between PLC/DCS & SCADA. - Executing all jobs as per plans, standards, and ensuring no deviations during execution. - Timely execution of all instrumentation jobs for breakdown, Management of Change (MOC), and projects as per standard guidelines. - Allocating jobs to a team of instrument supervisors and technicians with proper planning. - Managing resources and materials for the team, ensuring quality job execution on the shop floor by company employees or contractors. - Inventory spares management of instruments and organizing visits as per Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) / Annual Rate Contract (ARC) or based on requirements. - Identifying and implementing training programs for the development of the instrumentation team. - Developing vendors for various services, managing budget utilization, and preparing Capex/Opex for procurement. - Ensuring safety practices, conducting safety talks, safety committee meetings, near miss reporting, incident reporting, and investigation reviews regularly. - Implementing 5S at the workplace and in daily routines. - Performing all Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), Condition-based Maintenance (CBM) activities, and Root Cause Analysis.
