Job Description

  1. Content Design & Development

    • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
    • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content based on instructional objectives.
    • Develop scripts, storyboards, and prototypes for multimedia content such as videos and animations.
    • Ensure instructional design aligns with adult learning principles and the latest e-learning standards.
  2. Needs Assessment & Analysis

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and objectives.
    • Conduct learner analysis to understand target audience characteristics and tailor content accordingly.
    • Perform task and workflow analysis to ensure training is relevant and practical for learners.
  3. Technology Integration & Innovation

    • Utilize instructional design tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to create, manage, and deploy training programs.
    • Explore and integrate new technologies such as virtual reality (VR), gamification, and interactive simulations.
    • Ensure course compatibility with SCORM, xAPI, or other e-learning standards.
  4. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
    • Update and refine existing courses based on feedback and changing organizational needs.
    • Stay updated on instructional design trends and incorporate innovative techniques into training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field
  • Skills & Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development.
    • Proficiency with instructional design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
    • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with LMS platforms and e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI).
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
    • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in learning design.
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Instructional Design or E-learning (e.g., ATD, CPTD).
  • Experience with mobile-first learning and microlearning design.
  • Familiarity with data analytics for learning effectiveness.
