Company Description AMMACHI Labs (Amrita Multi Modal Applications and Human Computer Interaction) of Amrita University focus on using a Problem Driven Iterative Approach to research, design, and implement technologies for solving social problems and promoting inclusive development of under-served communities. Location: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, Kollam, Kerala Duration: 4 months (Starting June 2025) Stipend: None Perks: Free food and accommodation provided Role Description We are seeking a highly motivated Instructional Designer Intern to join our team on-site at Amritapuri. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in designing engaging learning experiences including simulations and virtual labs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, and media teams to translate complex concepts into structured, learner-friendly content. Key Responsibilities Conduct needs analysis to understand learner requirements Create clear scripts and storyboards for instructional content Collaborate with SMEs, developers, and media teams to develop learning modules Design engaging 3D simulations and virtual labs Assist in curriculum development and learning management Apply instructional design principles to deliver impactful learning experiences Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or final-year students) in Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia, B.Tech, B.Sc, or related fields Experience or coursework in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or Training & Development Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong visual storytelling and scriptwriting abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Experience with educational technology and 3D simulation tools is a plus Preferred profile Final year or recent graduates (2024/2025 pass outs) Passion for educational innovation and technology-driven learning Proactive and eager to learn If you’re enthusiastic about transforming education through innovative instructional design, we’d love to hear from you!
