Company DescriptionAMMACHI Labs (Amrita Multi Modal Applications and Human Computer Interaction) and CWEGE (Center for Women's Empowerment and Gender Equality) of Amrita University focus on using a Problem Driven Iterative Approach to research, design, and implement technologies for inclusive development of under-served communities. Role DescriptionWe are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Designer Interns to join our team. This internship is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, training, and learning design, and who possess a technical background (such as IT, engineering, computer science, or masters degree. QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong interest or background in technology-related topics.Basic knowledge of instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).Familiarity with e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).Good communication and collaboration skills. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing and developing engaging and effective instructional materials (e-learning, manuals, presentations, story boards etc.).Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and structure content, particularly in technical or digital domains.Support curriculum development processes, including storyboarding and scripting.Use instructional design tools and authoring software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar).Apply learning theories and instructional design models to create learner-centered solutions.Review and revise content based on feedback.
