The Role

We are currently looking for an Instructional Designer and Technologist to join our Instructional Design team to develop training materials to improve individual and organizational performance. Responsible for the development, and maintenance of training courses using multiple delivery methods, including instructor led training (classes and webinars), self-paced web-based training and/or other learning and development support. This individual will have ownership of broad areas and learning programs including the responsibilities below:

The Main Responsibilities

• The primary focus of this job is to develop courseware and materials from storyboards provided by senior members of the team.
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer and enhances the learning process.
• Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.
• Develop and maintains online learning materials.
• Develop training manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
• Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
• Under the direction of a supervisor, works independently to create materials grounded in best practices in technology.
• Effectively integrate the best practices of instructional design and instructional technology using multimedia, software, programming, and art technology.

 What We Look for in a Candidate

• 1 - 3 years of experience in instructional design/technology or related field.
• Experience developing learning content using interactive instructional multimedia.
• Experience with online training development tools like Articulate Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Vyond.
• Experience with online publishing standards including SCORM/AICC. 
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Forward thinking to identify potential issues and/or risks to be resolved or minimized.
