Installation Technician – Elevators

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Assembly

• Install elevator components including rails, cabins, doors, motors, controllers, and wiring.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical parts according to engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and fitting of components.
• Install safety systems and test operational mechanisms.

2. Site Coordination

• Assist in site preparation and ensure availability of required tools, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with civil teams for shaft readiness, machine room access, and required infrastructure.
• Report installation progress and issues to the supervisor.

3. Testing & Commissioning

• Perform pre-commissioning checks and calibrations.
• Conduct functional tests for speed, leveling accuracy, door operation, and safety systems.
• Identify and rectify faults during testing phases.
• Assist in final commissioning with senior engineers.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols and ensure safe working practices at customer sites.
• Comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for installation and safety procedures.

5. Customer Interaction & Support

• Communicate professionally with clients on installation activities.
• Provide basic operational guidance once installation is complete.
• Address minor on-site technical queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• Minimum 1.5+ years of experience in elevator installation or maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of elevator control systems and components.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of site safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: ₹20000
