Hiring,
Position: Inspection & Quality Manager
Experience: 10 to 15 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all quality assurance and inspection activities across the machine shop and shop floor.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO standards.
- Oversee in-process and final inspections, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry regulations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Manage a team of quality inspectors and provide training on quality tools and techniques.
- Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and audit findings to senior management.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
Required Skills & Tools
- Strong knowledge of precision machining processes and shop floor operations
- Proficiency in SPC, FMEA, 5S, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field
- Certifications like CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Lean Six Sigma preferred
