#Hiring Job Title: Input Head Location: Raipur Reports To: Editor-in-Chief / News Director Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Input Head to oversee the news gathering and coordination process in our newsroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of reporters, stringers, and field crews, ensuring a constant and efficient flow of relevant news content to the editorial team.. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all incoming news content from reporters, bureaus, agencies, and sources Coordinate coverage plans for breaking news, live events, and scheduled reports Lead the input desk, assign stories, and manage daily news logistics Ensure timely and accurate flow of news information to output and production teams Maintain communication with field reporters, OB vans, and newsroom teams Prioritize news items based on editorial value and urgency Build and maintain a network of reliable sources and field contacts Collaborate with output editors, producers, and planning desks for cohesive news delivery Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field 3 Yrs + years of experience in a newsroom, including at least 3 years in a leadership/input role Deep understanding of news priorities, editorial judgment, and field operations Strong coordination, communication, and crisis management skills Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations in real time Preferred Skills: Experience in live news environments (TV or digital) Working knowledge Regards, Neha Khandelwal neha.k@ipsgroup.co.in Show more Show less
