Inprocess Quality Inspector

Job Title: In-Process Quality EngineerLocation: Varroc Engineering Ltd., Mahalunge Industry: Automotive – Plastic Injection Moulding Key Responsibilities (In-Process Focus):Ensure in-process quality control for plastic injection moulded components on shopfloor Conduct patrol inspections and ensure process adherence as per control plan Monitor moulding parameters and verify process stability during production Identify, analyze, and control moulding defects (short shot, flash, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, flow lines) Perform first-off / last-off inspection and setting approval Implement and monitor SPC & control charts Carry out root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) for in-process issues and rejections Coordinate with production, tool room, and maintenance teams for defect containment Maintain in-process inspection records, rejection data, and traceability Support PFMEA & Control Plan updates related to process issues Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 requirements at shopfloor level Key Skills Required:Plastic Injection Moulding Process In-Process Quality Inspection Defect Analysis SPC & Quality Tools Root Cause Analysis Automotive Quality Standards Education:Diploma / BE / BTech – Mechanical / Production / Plastic Engineering Experience:2–5 years experience in automotive plastic injection moulding Strong shopfloor exposure in in-process qualit
