Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement scalable infrastructure architectures across cloud (AWS/Azure), on-premise, and hybrid environments.
  
• Execute infrastructure operationalization, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and automation, aligned with business and technology goals.
  
• Implement infrastructure standards, frameworks, and best practices (IaC, CI/CD for infrastructure, Zero Trust, governance models).
  
• Collaborate closely with IaC architects, software architects, developers, DevOps, security, cloud governance, and operations teams for seamless integration.
  
• Lead and support infrastructure migration initiatives across environments.
  
• Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks, data protection regulations, and disaster recovery policies.
  
• Provide support for incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of infrastructure-related issues.
  
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance for infrastructure and IT governance processes.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 7+ years of overall IT experience, with

  4+ years in Infrastructure Operationalization

  (hands-on).
• Deep expertise in

  AWS and Azure cloud platforms

  , virtualization technologies, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with

  AWS Fargate, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager

  .
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools:

  Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet

  .
• Advanced understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, storage, and security controls.
  
• Experience with monitoring tools such as

  New Relic

  .
• Strong understanding of IT security principles, compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, HIPAA), and DR/BCP planning.
  
• Continuous improvement mindset with focus on enhancing infrastructure operational maturity.
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM/Kanban environments.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

  (Associate or Professional).
• Experience leveraging

  GenAI

  for infrastructure automation.
• Experience working in

  multi-cloud or hybrid cloud

  setups.
• Exposure to

  DevSecOps

  and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
