About Role :

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the organization’s IT Infrastructure systems. This includes on-premises and cloud-based environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Install, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers, storage systems and network components 

• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure uptime and reliability. 

• Manage patching, backups, and system updates in line with best practices. 

• Support infrastructure-related projects such as server upgrades, cloud migrations, and network enhancements 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical input, and execute delivery plans 

• Manage virtualized and on-prem environments including provisioning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management. 

 • Implement and maintain security controls across infrastructure layers. 

• Participate in audits and ensure infrastructure adheres to compliance standards Skills and Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering or system administration 

• Strong Knowledge of: 

o Operating System: Windows server, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) 

o Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V 

o Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud o Networking: LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls 

o Scripting/Automation: PowerShell, Python, or Bash 

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills 

• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks 

• Excellent verbal and written communication
