Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

Conduct regular health checks and performance tuning on VxRail clusters to ensure optimal operation and availability.
Execute emergency updates and patches to VxRail systems to address critical vulnerabilities or performance issues.
Manage and maintain Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, preferably VxRail, ensuring peak performance and reliability.
Oversee backup and restoration tasks using Avamar and Data Domain systems.
Diagnose and resolve high-severe incidents affecting VxRail infrastructure.
Perform immediate recovery operations for critical systems using Avamar in case of data loss or corruption.

Job Requirements :

Experience working with Avamar, VxRail, Data Domain, and VMware technologies.
Strong understanding of backup and restoration processes using Avamar and Data Domain systems.
Ability to respond rapidly to P1 alerts related to Data Domain disk failures or capacity issues.
Experience in investigating and remediating high-priority storage bottlenecks in Data Domain systems.
Knowledge of alert monitoring, incident management, and change management principles.
Preferably have experience working with VxRail, Backup & Recovery using Avamar and Data Domain systems.
