Job Description

Job Overview: Experience - 5 to 8 yearsWe are looking for a Technical lead with expertise in Python scripting and a strong understanding of Jira Administration to join our innovative team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating functional requirements into technical solutions, automating repetitive tasks, and optimization. You will play a key role in enhancing project management and design processes by integrating Python scripts and Jira into day-to-day operations. If you’re passionate about design and technology, and have the technical expertise to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Design Creation and Execution: Collaborate with functional/product teams to develop and implement technical designs, ensuring feasibility and scalability.
Scripting and Automation: Write and maintain Python scripts to automate tasks, improve workflows, and enhance team efficiency.
Tool Development and Enhancement: Customize with Python to enhance productivity and streamline design-to-production pipelines.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product owners, functional analyst and product managers to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, designs, and support documents. Ensure all processes follow best practices and company standards.
Prototyping and Validation: Develop prototypes to validate design concepts, ensuring technical accuracy and meeting project goals.
Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in design and Python scripting. Propose improvements to enhance the overall design process.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Proven experience in a technical lead role, ideally within software design, or engineering.
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tool development.
Solid experience using Jira from end-user perspective and administrator perspective
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
Strong knowledge of design principles and software/product development lifecycle.
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and team collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Good To Have)

Familiarity with cloud platforms or databases (AWS, SQL, etc.).
Knowledge of SAFe/Agile methodologies and Jira's integration with Agile practices.
Jira DB architecture and performance optimization
