Information Security Senior Specialist Delivery Lead

Role Overview: The Information Security Senior Specialist is a seasoned leader with over 15 years of experience in protecting the organization's digital assets. Operating within the Chief Security Office (CSO), you will play a key role in shaping, implementing, and governing enterprise-wide data security strategies. Your main responsibility will be to act as the Delivery Lead for Data Security initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the evolving threat landscape. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the successful delivery of complex data security projects and programs. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with internal security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. - Provide subject matter expertise in data security, privacy, and information protection. - Identify and assess potential threat areas, implementing appropriate remediation measures. - Shape and maintain the organization's security capabilities to evolve with emerging risks and technologies. - Develop forward-looking strategies for effective information security management. - Lead the delivery of data security projects and initiatives, overseeing end-to-end project management. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. - Mentor and guide team members to foster continuous improvement of processes and delivery approaches. - Report on project progress, risks, and achievements to senior management. Qualifications Required: - Proven delivery of large-scale, complex security projects in regulated, fast-paced environments. - Expertise in designing and implementing data security frameworks and architectures such as DLP, DSPM, unstructured data discovery/classification, encryption, and tokenization. - Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS. - Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and security awareness. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMI-PMP, or equivalent. - Commitment to staying current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends through ongoing education and professional development.
