Industrial Relationship Manager / Sr. Manager

Job Title / Function : Manager / Senior Manager Industrial Relations Business Sector : Port & Operations Location : JNPT, Navi Mumbai Key Accountability : 1. Contract Labour Management ( CLMS) 2. Statutory Compliances & Monthly Audits. 3. Negotiations with union & keep harmonious Industrial Relations. 4. Recruitment of PAP (Project Affected People) Candidates. 5. Disciplinary Procedure 6. Interaction with Govt. Officers, Contractors etc. Major Activities/ Tasks : 1. CLMS Smooth on boarding of contract labours via set system. 2. Monthly statutory audit of contract labour and robust actions to comply the deficiencies in compliances. 3. Contentious interactions with union, leasers, key persons to have peaceful Industrial relations. Recruitment of PAP candidates via set norms and standards. Work Relations (Internal and External) : Internal Relations - Main interface of the Job Holder (Working relationships with Key stakeholders/ internal customers Other Job Holders that the Job holder have may to liaise, report or coordinate with Work closely with all internal stakeholders of all departments. Union Representatives, opinion makers. External Relations - Main interface of the Job Holder (Working relationships with Key stakeholders/ external customers Third party vendors, supervisors, local leaders, Govt. Officials, etc. Technical/Functional Expertise : Knowledge of statutory compliances & labour laws, Experience of Interacting with union, negotiations, long term settlement, etc. Behavioral Competencies: Decision Making Good Communicator Team Leader Disciplined Person having exposure to work with various types of peoples & environments. Good communication skills having knowledge of local language (Marathi). Should be able to work under pressure.
