Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission industrial gas burners upto 12000 KW including connecting to gas trains, vaporizers, pipelines, and control systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and optimization of burners for efficient operation, including adjusting air-fuel ratios, checking combustion chambers, and ensuring low-emission performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as ignition failures, flame instability, or control malfunctions using specialized tools, replacing parts like electrodes, controllers, or flame rods.
  • Conduct safety inspections, leak tests, and compliance checks with industry standards, responding to on-call emergencies to prevent hazards in high-pressure gas environments.
  • Repair or retrofit burners, including handling dual-fuel (gas/oil) models, pneumatic controls, and integration with boilers or heating equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts (e.g., FS5/FS10 flame rods, burner controllers), document service logs, and coordinate with teams for shift operations or large-scale installations.
  • Provide technical support for burner upgrades, energy management, and integration with systems like DUNGS combustion controls.
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules, commissioning new equipment, and training cusotmer staff on burner specific operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: ITI certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering; vocational training in combustion technology or gas handling preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in industrial burner service, preferably with Riello or similar brands (e.g., oil, gas, combination burners);
  • Burner-specific training from Riello authorized centers.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of gas burner models for eg; Reillo(e.g., 40 G series, Gulliver BS3D), combustion principles, low-NOx technology, and gas safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for quick fault identification in industrial settings.
  • Physical ability to work in demanding environments, including lifting heavy parts, working at heights, or in confined spaces.
  • Communication and teamwork for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Familiarity with Indian regulations for LPG systems and energy efficiency standards.
  • Willingness for flexible shifts, travel across India, and on-call duties.

Work Environment and Conditions

  • Location: Based in Hyderabad and required field visit to industrial hubs like Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Pune (Maharashtra), Mumbai, or Bengaluru;
  • Schedule: Full-time with overtime, shifts, and emergency response.
  • Hazards: Exposure to gases and high temperatures; requires PPE and strict safety adherence.
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience; often includes allowances for travel and tools.
