Sales Engineer - LPG Conversion Specialist for Industrial Applications Job Summary: This role focuses on selling and supporting the conversion of industrial heating systems from Diesel/Furnace Oil/Light Diesel Oil/PNG to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The Sales Engineer will act as a technical and commercial expert, helping clients reduce emissions, lower operating costs, and comply with environmental regulations through LPG conversion. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Identify and engage with industries using boilers, furnaces, kilns, hot air generators, hot water generators, etc., to promote LPG conversion solutions. Conduct presentations and demonstrations to explain the financial and environmental benefits of switching to LPG. Develop sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts. Technical Assessment and Consulting: Evaluate the existing Diesel/Furnace Oil/Light Diesel Oil/PNG -based systems of potential clients to determine suitability for LPG conversion. Design custom solutions for each application, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and meeting specific client needs. Provide detailed technical advice on system modifications, fuel efficiency, and safety standards. Project Management: Oversee the entire conversion process from initial assessment to final commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with internal technical teams, external contractors, and suppliers for system installation and integration. Manage project documentation, including technical specifications, compliance certificates, and performance reports. Customer Support and Training: Train client's operational staff on the use, maintenance, and safety protocols for LPG systems post-conversion. Offer ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance advice to ensure system longevity and efficiency. Conduct site visits for performance evaluations and to address any operational issues. Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure all conversions adhere to local, national, and international safety and environmental regulations. Stay updated on changes in legislation that could affect LPG usage in industrial applications. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends related to industrial heating solutions and alternative fuels to forecast future demands and opportunities. Provide feedback to the R&D team for product enhancements or new developments based on customer and market needs. Qualifications: Skills: Deep understanding of combustion principles, drawings, heat transfer, and industrial heating equipment. Exceptional communication skills for technical sales and client presentations. Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting. Competence in project management and customer relationship management. Fluency in local language (Kozhikode - Malayalam, Bhubaneswar - Odia and Ahmedabad - Gujarati and Hindi) Certifications: Preferably certified in areas like LPG handling, safety, or specific industrial equipment operation. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively within the sales territory. Working Conditions: Combination of office work for planning and reporting, with significant time spent at client sites for assessments, installations, and follow-ups. Specifics: Start Date: 1st June 2025 Salary range: INR 1015 lakhs annually (set based on need and experience). Health Insurance upto INR 5 Lakh to employee and 2 dependents & parents. Travel Allowance will be provided.
