About the Role

Doit Industries Limited is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to design and develop innovative jewellery-making machinery and tools. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with engineering knowledge to create functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically appealing products for precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop functional, ergonomic, and visually appealing jewellery-making machines and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, chemists, and production staff to ensure design feasibility and performance.
• Translate concepts into detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
• Work on UI/UX aspects of machine control panels and operator interfaces.
• Research suitable materials, finishes, and form factors for precision manufacturing and chemical handling.
• Apply principles of sustainability, safety, and efficiency across all design solutions.
• Participate in product testing, validation, and iterative improvement cycles.
• Stay updated with trends in industrial design, manufacturing technology, and jewellery industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–10 years of experience in industrial design, preferably in machinery, tools, or process equipment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360) and rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, Blender).
• Experience with prototyping, material selection, and design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Basic understanding of chemical safety and material compatibility is a plus.
