Industrial Design engineer

As an Industrial Designer Engineer at Doit Industries Limited, located in Vasai East, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative jewellery-making machinery and tools. Your role will involve blending creativity with engineering knowledge to create functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically appealing products for precision manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop functional, ergonomic, and visually appealing jewellery-making machines and tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, chemists, and production staff to ensure design feasibility and performance. - Translate concepts into detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes. - Work on UI/UX aspects of machine control panels and operator interfaces. - Research suitable materials, finishes, and form factors for precision manufacturing and chemical handling. - Apply principles of sustainability, safety, and efficiency across all design solutions. - Participate in product testing, validation, and iterative improvement cycles. - Stay updated with trends in industrial design, manufacturing technology, and jewellery industry standards. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - 4-10 years of experience in industrial design, preferably in machinery, tools, or process equipment. - Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360) and rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, Blender). - Experience with prototyping, material selection, and design for manufacturing (DFM). - Basic understanding of chemical safety and material compatibility is a plus.
