Job Description

As a Sales & Business Development professional in the field of Industrial Automation at the corporate office in Perungudi, Chennai, your primary role will be to collaborate with Account Executives to identify, contact, and follow up with potential clients. You will be responsible for comprehensively explaining the technical capabilities of our products and their business value to clients, even when dealing with complex technical concepts. Key Responsibilities: - Clearly articulate technical capabilities and conduct technical demonstrations. - Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and maintain relationships with potential clients. - Provide general technical support to clients. - Develop detailed marketing strategies in response to customer RFQs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities. - Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's products/services, engineering principles, and industry standards to effectively communicate technical solutions to clients. - Work closely with sales teams, project teams, design engineers, and vendors to gather essential information for marketing development. - Prepare accurate cost estimates by analyzing project requirements, material costs, labor costs, and other relevant factors. - Tailor marketing and sales approaches to address specific client needs and highlight the company's unique value proposition. - Prepare costing and documents based on tender specifications and submit them in the tender portal. - Maintain organized records of marketing and sales documents, including versions, revisions, and related correspondence. - Manage multiple marketing and sales deadlines simultaneously to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals. - Identify opportunities for process improvements in marketing and sales development, including the development of templates, tools, and best practices. - Promote the company's existing brands and introduce new products to the market. - Maintain relationships with key clients through regular visits, understanding their needs, and identifying new marketing opportunities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering with approximately 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation Sales & Marketing. - Proven experience in proposal development, preferably in an engineering or technical sales environment. - Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads. - Good communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Willingness to travel. - Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
