Position: Automation Sales Engineer Siemens Product/Panel

Pune, Supa, Ahmednagar, Ranjangoan, Goa, Chennai, Bangalore ,Hyderabad

About the Role:

Automation Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and close sales for Automation products and solutions (PLC, HMI, VFD, control panels, etc.)
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, demos, and pilot projects
  • Prepare RFP/RFQ responses and lead techno-commercial discussions
  • Collaborate with design and execution teams for optimized solutions
  • Maintain strong customer and channel relationships
  • Provide post-sales follow-up and support
  • Contribute to business development and marketing strategies

Core Skills Required:

  • Sound knowledge of PLC, HMI, and VFD preferably Siemens
  • Strong communication and technical selling ability
  • Experience in handling RFP/RFQs, tenders, and client proposals

Additional (Secondary) Skills:

  • Industry contacts with decision-makers
  • Ability to sell both automation products and control/power panels
  • Confidence in delivering sales pitches and handling objections

Personal Attributes:

  • Technically savvy and smart communicator
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
