Incident Manager

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing application support projects focusing on .NET technologies in Hyderabad. With 12-15 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in project management, incident management, and ensuring compliance with SLAs. In project management, you will plan, execute, and manage application support projects, collaborating with clients to define requirements and expectations. You will also oversee incident, problem, change, and release management processes, ensuring SLA compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Monitoring project performance metrics and managing resource allocation will be key aspects of your role. In incident management, you will act as the Incident Manager for critical incidents, coordinating with L2/L3 teams, development teams, and infrastructure teams for quick resolution. Effective communication with stakeholders during high-severity incidents and driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents will be essential. Establishing escalation protocols for unresolved or recurring issues will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team. Your project management skills, knowledge of cloud services, and expertise in .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and Web API will be critical. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, experience in managing critical incidents, and familiarity with ticketing systems and ITSM processes are also required. A B.Tech/ B.E/ MCA/ M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent with 12+ years of total IT experience, along with 3-5 years of experience in managing application support projects and 5+ years of relevant project management experience, is necessary. Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management skills, and previous experience in the insurance industry will be beneficial. Professional certifications like PMP and ITIL/ITSM certification for incident and service management will be advantageous.
