About this opportunity:
Incident Manager is a key position residing in GNOC who is performing the critical role of managing Incidents across all customers. Incident manager handles the high severity outages aggressively and ensures that the restoration is done within the Service level agreement with the customer!
What you will do:
- Manage Incidents 24X7 and ensure minimal disruption to the service.This role requires for handling the NW performance & availability and Dead Sites number along with end customers, responsible to handle the governance with End Customer This position requires expert skill in managing the end customer, including the critical skills of Dispatch/Estates and Incident management. Set up the WAR Room every time when the it is required and be the SPOC for Ericsson operations teamSet up and drive the Technical & Management Bridge.
- Do verify the messages to ensure completeness & correctness of the information being sent to the customer.
- Managing the Key Network performance related incidents
- Handling the End customers and work
- The handling of the high customer complaint incident will be the key interfacing with Customers
- This role will give great opportunity to handle the Customers and escalations handling. This will also work in managing the SLA's and KPI'
The skills you bring:
- Have more than 5 years trouble shooting experience in a Telecom domain.
- Have engineering degree or equivalent.
- Having experience in end to end Incident handling process and making sure availability is always green.
- Remain open minded when approaching problems, considering all inputs and available alternatives before making decisions.
- Have ability to remain calm and focused under extremely stressful situations.
- This role will be responsible for handling the customer focused Incidents and will have direct governance with MBNL/EE/3UK to solve these issues.
- Technical Skill for Mobile Communications along with Dispatch and Incident management full knowledge, along with ITIL expertise
Key Qualification:
- Qualifications: Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Experience- 5-10 Years
