Job Description

  • Introduce and develop ISO 14001, ISO 45001 system for the Plants and Head office. Improve and update our current ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems going forward
  • ISO 50001: 2018 ENMS Energy Management system exposure and implementation experience preferable.
  • Introduce software applications to replace paper systems as far as possible
  • Control the day-to-day operations including auditing, meetings, training and updating documents and records for all aspects of the systems
  • Evaluate and analyse EHS issues in the production and introduce corrective and preventive actions
  • Liaise with management and staff to ensure continued EHS integration into core operations
  • Monitor and ensure that all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is complied with and ensure a safe working environment for all team members within a busy manufacturing and service environment. Manage company Safety file.
  • Conduct Continuous Improvement processes to improve processes and procedures
  • Active participation at all levels, from strategy through to implementation as well as actively influencing and motivating a variety of people to ensure commitment to the overall EHS systems
  • Report on the performance of the IMS(EMS & OHSMS) for review and as a basis for continual improvement.
  • Perform the role of Administrator which has the authority to ensure access rights in the IMS(EMS & OHSMS), for individuals, are in-line with their levels of authorities and responsibility in the organisation.
  • Monitor, communicate and incorporate changes in the legal and other requirements in the IMS(EMS & OHSMS).
  • Communicate amendments to the IMS(EMS & OHSMS).
  • Advise and provide guidance to ensure compliance to the IMS(EMS & OHSMS) is maintained.
  • Provide guidance in developing action plans and conducting management system reviews.
  • Ensure that audits and inspections are conducted in accordance with the schedule.
  • Ensure that organization is effectively utilised to administer and control the IMS(EMS & OHSMS).
  • Provide and or arrange for ongoing training and coaching to personnel with respect to IMS(EMS & OHSMS) matters.
  • Coordinate and participate in IMS(EMS & OHSMS) meetings including the Management Review.
  • Publish and control all IMS(EMS & OHSMS) documents.
  • Actively promote and participate in IMS(EMS & OHSMS) initiatives.
  • Coordinate and administer arrangements with the certification agency.
