Job Description Position : Production Officer Company : Astral Adhesives Limited Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat Experience Required : 1-3 years in chemical manufacturing or production (Freshers with B.Sc. Chemistry welcome) About the Role: Astral Adhesives Limited is hiring a Production Officer to support daily plant operations in the manufacturing of adhesives, resins, and polymers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols. Fresh graduates in Chemistry with a passion for chemical manufacturing are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Production Operations: Monitor and manage batch processing, mixing, and packaging operations on the shop floor. Ensure adherence to production schedules, formulas, and process parameters. Coordinate with the shift in-charge and maintain shift-wise production records. Coordination & Reporting: Liaise with QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. Maintain production logs, batch records, and material movement data accurately. Escalate equipment or process issues promptly for resolution. Qualifications: B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry 1-3 years of experience in a chemical, adhesive, or polymer manufacturing setup Freshers with B.Sc.
