Job Description Position : Technical Services Officer Company : Astral Adhesives Limited Locations : Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, Jaipur Experience Required : 2-5 years in technical services or R&D within the adhesives industry About the Role: Astral Adhesives is hiring Technical Services Officers across key regions to provide technical application support , assist with product trials , and resolve customer issues related to adhesives and sealants. Ideal candidates will have hands-on knowledge from field support or R&D backgrounds , especially in adhesives or construction chemicals. Key Responsibilities: Application Support & Demonstrations: Conduct on-site product trials and demonstrations at customer locations. Offer technical solutions based on application conditions, substrate type, and usage environment. Ensure proper usage of adhesives including surface preparation, mixing, and curing. Customer Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints and provide on-ground technical resolutions . Coordinate with the R&D and production teams for technical insights and solutions. Assist in the adaptation of products for specialized or new applications. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of field visits, trial results, and feedback. Generate technical reports and ensure proper complaint documentation and closure. Collect and report data related to competitor products and field performance. Training & Sales Support: Conduct product knowledge sessions for sales teams, dealers, and distributors. Support product launches and provide technical backup to the sales function during customer meetings.
