Job Description

As an Import and Export Assistant Manager for the company based in Gurgaon, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Handling both LCL and FCL for import and export, specifically with experience in freight forwarders company. - Managing Export/Import documentation, including preparation of daily reports, delivery schedules, GST invoices, Bank Realisation Certificates, and other necessary documents related to export & import. - Demonstrating knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Export Schemes. - Corresponding effectively with overseas counterparts, shippers, and consignees. - Placing bookings and shipping instructions on LINERS web pages and INTTRA platform. - Coordinating with shippers/Consignees to ensure timely stuffing and handover of containers to customs for clearance. - Preparing entire export/import documentation (pre & post documents) and coordinating with shipping lines for draft and Bill of Lading releasing. - Tracking shipment orders and statuses, attending to customer queries, and performing administrative tasks. - Coordinating with shipping lines, CHAs, and co-loaders for documentation. - Working with existing suppliers to reduce costs/pricing and maintaining shipment details in Excel Sheets and Registers. - Responding to customer inquiries and directing clients to the appropriate channels. - Coordinating with transporters for shipment handling and pickup post customs clearance. - Collaborating with shipping lines/airlines for Delivery order of import shipments and ensuring checklist completion for all air & sea export/import shipments. Additionally, the job is full-time with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in import and export. Please note that the work location is in person.,
