ImpactEd Internship

Are you a pre-final or final year student passionate about education and leadership? Teach For India’s ImpactED Internship is your chance to step into classrooms, mentor students, and develop skills that will set you up for any career in the 21st century.

About the Role:

ImpactED interns support Teach For India Fellows by teaching and guiding small groups of students toward learning outcomes. This part-time role requires 2–3 school visits per week (2–3 hours per visit) and combines hands-on teaching with a structured leadership journey designed to develop self-awareness, understanding of children’s learning ecosystems, and insights into education in India.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Learning: Plan and deliver weekly activities and content for your students.
• Research & Reflection: Attend weekly check-ins with your Fellow Mentor to reflect on classroom experiences and work on real-life problem statements.
• Leadership Development: Complete orientation and curated online exercises, and participate in at least one in-person reflection session at Teach For India’s office.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Pre-final or final year students from any stream.
• Availability to commit to at least 60 hours over the internship period.
• Passion for education, curiosity, and willingness to take initiative.
