Immediate Hiring - Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Engineering (Machine Build)

Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Engineer / Sr. Engineer Engineering with a strong background in machine building , multi-process machine setup , and customized engineering design . The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the installation and integration of CNC machines, SPMs, robotic systems, and high-precision equipment used in Grinding, Laser Marking, Cutting, Welding, Polishing, Lapping , and AOI systems . This is a hands-on role involving the end-to-end execution of engineering projects across various automation-intensive manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead machine building and installation projects , ensuring timely execution and alignment with process requirements. Manage machine setup for diverse applications such as Grinding, Laser Marking, Cutting, Welding, Polishing, Lapping, and AOI , including robotic integration. Prepare concept and detailed engineering designs , 3D models, assembly drawings, and documentation. Customize and optimize existing machine designs to suit new process requirements or product variants. Drive integration of CNC machines , SPMs , and robotic systems in fully or semi-automated production environments. Collaborate with automation, maintenance, and production teams for seamless machine commissioning and production ramp-up. Conduct on-site machine trials , troubleshooting, and validation to ensure functionality and process reliability. Support selection of mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical components based on technical and cost criteria. Maintain and update engineering documentation including BOMs, process flow charts, and design records. Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations, ergonomic standards, and operational guidelines. Required Skills & Experience: 5–10 years of hands-on experience in engineering design , machine building , and custom automation in precision or electronics manufacturing. Deep understanding of CNC machines , SPMs , and robotic systems . Specific experience in engineering machines for Grinding, Laser Marking, Laser Cutting, Welding, Polishing, Lapping , and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) . Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, actuators, sensors, vision systems, and motion control. Proficient in CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo , or equivalent for mechanical design. Capable of reading and interpreting complex engineering schematics and P&ID diagrams. Ability to work independently on engineering development projects from design to commissioning. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Education: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering (Full-Time, Regular is mandatory ) Preferred candidate profile
