Job Description

Operating Location: Simeio Office – Bangalore, India (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
About the Role

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager will lead, coordinate, and optimize IAM operations, focusing on monitoring and managing offshore delivery team performance. This role ensures adherence to security policies, SLA compliance, operational accuracy, and high-quality service delivery aligned with regulatory and audit requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Operational Oversight
    • Lead daily IAM operations performed by offshore resources, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and entitlement changes.
    • Monitor service levels, workload distribution, and task completion timelines.
    • Review offshore team’s performance metrics, ensuring SLA compliance and process accuracy.
  • Performance & People Management
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and quality assurance checks on offshore output.
    • Provide coaching, feedback, and process clarifications to offshore leads and team members.
    • Develop training and capability-building programs to address skill gaps.
  • Process & Compliance
    • Ensure IAM activities comply with organizational security policies, regulatory mandates, and audit requirements (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001).
    • Maintain and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Partner with governance teams to ensure all control evidence is accurate and complete.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
    • Act as primary liaison between onshore stakeholders and offshore teams.
    • Escalate and resolve issues impacting delivery timelines or quality.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify bottlenecks and recommend automation or process improvements.
    • Implement KPIs and dashboards for real-time visibility into offshore team performance.
    • Lead operational excellence initiatives within IAM.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • 7–10 years’ experience in IAM operations, including role-based access control, privileged access management, and identity lifecycle management.
  • 3–5 years’ experience leading or managing offshore delivery teams.
  • Strong familiarity with IAM-IGA tools (Saviynt, SailPoint).
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting IAM (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Nice to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with automation tools for IAM operations.
  • Exposure to cloud IAM solutions and hybrid environments.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or IAM-specific certifications.
