Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic ICT Teacher to introduce and develop foundational computer skills among students of Grades 1 to 4. The candidate should be capable of creating age-appropriate learning experiences to build digital literacy and encourage responsible use of technology in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach basic computer operations, typing skills, MS Office tools (Word, Paint, PowerPoint), internet safety, and age-appropriate coding concepts.
• Design engaging lesson plans in alignment with curriculum objectives and 21st-century learning skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and creativity.
• Encourage hands-on activities, games, and educational tools to enhance digital learning.
• Integrate technology in cross-curricular areas to support classroom learning.
• Conduct regular assessments and maintain student progress records.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ICT lab equipment and software.
• Organize and guide students for tech-related events, exhibitions, or competitions.
• Collaborate with grade teachers and coordinators to support interdisciplinary projects.
• Promote safe, ethical, and responsible use of technology among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience teaching ICT/Computers at primary level.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic with a child-centric approach to teaching.
• Familiarity with EdTech tools, basic coding platforms (Scratch, Blockly, etc.), and multimedia teaching aids.
