Job Title: FileNet Java Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IBM ECM Developer to join our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team. This role will play a critical technical part in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining IBM FileNet–based ECM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with IBM FileNet P8, Java/J2EE, and Spring frameworks, and will support both new development and ongoing operational maintenance of out-of-the-box and custom FileNet applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesECM Design & Development

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain ECM solutions using the

  IBM FileNet P8 platform

  .
• Build custom components, workflows, step processors, plugins, and integrations to extend FileNet capabilities.
• Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical design documents, unit test plans, and implementation artifacts.
• Integrate FileNet ECM solutions with other enterprise systems using

  Java, Spring, REST, and SOAP services

  .

FileNet Platform & Administration

• Develop using

  FileNet CE and BPM Java APIs

  .
• Work with

  IBM Content Navigator

  including:
• API and plugin development
• Custom features and step processors
• EDS (External Data Service) development
• Desktop configuration, viewer mapping, and teamspaces
• Create and manage:
• Object stores, classes, search templates, and entry templates
• Workflows and custom components
• Use administrative tools such as

  ACCE

  and

  Process Administrator

  .
• Support WebSphere application deployments, updates, data sources, and configurations.

Application Quality & Support

• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure application stability and scalability.
• Provide back-end operational support and maintenance for ECM applications.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and best design principles.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, QA, and infrastructure teams.
• Contribute innovative ideas, design thinking, and analytical problem-solving to complex technical challenges.

Technical Skills & ExperienceRequired Experience

• 8+ years

  of IT industry experience designing, developing, and implementing large, complex IBM enterprise solutions.
• Strong understanding of ECM concepts including

  document management, workflow automation, and records management

  .
• Expert-level experience with

  Java/J2EE

  and

  Spring Framework

  .
