The role involves managing the availability of equipment (Non-OPE due to process issues & Microstops) and performing process troubleshooting to achieve Plant operations KPIs. It also includes implementing continuous improvement in the Process Domain, developing process/setup skills within the shop, and ensuring the standards and equipment processes are in place. Responsibilities include: - Experience in handling Gearbox Assembly process such as Servo Press, Hydraulic press, DC tightening tools, Leak testers, End of Line testing machines & SPM, and aluminium machining VMC, HMC machines in the machine shop. - In-depth knowledge of Aluminium machining process, CNC programming & supporting new product development. - Hands-on experience on Geometrical accuracy tests for machines such as HMC w& VMC and NVH on gearbox. - Ordering wear parts and machine consumables based on stock & lead time to ensure availability of critical spares. - Leading action plans to improve KPIs (OPE %, micro stoppages & Direct run rate) and conducting RCA and countermeasures for all breakdowns. - Knowledge of IATF requirements, system documentations, GD&T, and inspection equipment. - Driving productivity improvement through TPM and Best practice implementation. Key Performance Metrics: - Achieving optimum performance in OPE, DRR, and Cost. - Ensuring 100% Adherence for closure of non-OPE topics within stipulated target time. - Involvement in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen). - Ensuring consumables and wear part costs are within allocated budgets. Basic Qualifications: - B.E. / B.Tech./ Diploma. Preferred Qualifications: - 5 Years for B.E. / B Tech, / 8 years for Diploma. Technical Qualifications: - Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Automobile). - 5-8 Years of Experience in automobile or machine building OEMs. - Basic knowledge of shop floor operations. - Sound knowledge in engineering drawing standards & Assembly drawings. - Skills in IT Systems (MS Office, SAP, Autocad). Behavioral Qualifications: - Problem-Solving Skills. - Adaptability and flexibility. - Willingness to learn. - Integrity. - Customer-centric Approach and Effective Communication. Working Relationship: - Working in 3 shift basis. - Interaction with Shift leaders, Team Leaders, maintenance, Tool room, and other process people within the team. - Proper shift handover to the next shift reliever. - Daily collaborative participation in real-time monitoring meetings like Bottleneck animation, cutting tools & Direct run rate meeting. - Taking self-initiatives on TPM activities along with Team leaders. - Right communication with external parties like suppliers for quick resolution.,

Roles and Responsibilities Work as a line In Charge and responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of Forge Shop. (Hammer shop, Heat treatment and Processing shop). Lead maintenance team including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Utility Perform mechanical maintenance tasks on various equipment such as counter blow hammers, hydraulic presses, mechanical presses, robots, reduce rolls, water descaling systems, shot blasting machines, billet cutting machines, PNG-operated furnaces & Heat treatment furnaces. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment. Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues related to mechanical systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any defects or malfunctions. Daily review of machine downtime, BD analysis, MTTR, MTBF. Daily planning and execution of Preventive maintenance work, Spare repairing. Prepare and execute Periodic overhaul plan/ shutdown plan. Maintain Equipment History cards, Maintenance schedule and compliances. Implement of 5S, Kaizens for improvement productivity, PM pillar activities. Spare management to maintaining optimum level of consumable materials. Controlling cost of maintenance and repairs. Vendor development for in-house spare repairing. Carry out calibration of in process equipments and measuring devices. Develop and enhance safe working environment 100% adherence to TPM implementation plan. 100% Compliance to PPE, LOTO & Safety interlocks Desired Candidate Profile 15-20 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a forging industry Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Strong knowledge of mechanics principles and practices; familiarity with industrial automation concepts an asset.
