KTA Pilot Process Assembly & Aluminium machining

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the availability of equipment (Non-OPE due to process issues & Microstops) and performing process troubleshooting to achieve Plant operations KPIs. Your role will also involve implementing continuous improvement in the Process Domain, including standards and equipment processes, as well as developing process/setup skills within the shop. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in handling Gearbox Assembly process such as Servo Press, Hydraulic press, DC tightening tools, Leak testers, End of Line testing machines & SPM, and aluminium machining VMC, HMC machines in the machine shop. - In-depth knowledge of Aluminium machining process, CNC programming, and supporting new product development. - Hands-on experience on Geometrical accuracy tests for machines like HMC w& VMC and NVH on gearbox. - Ordering wear parts & machine consumables based on stock & lead time to ensure availability of critical spares either by new procurement with supplier coordination or repair. - Leading action plans to improve KPIs (OPE %, micro stoppages & Direct run rate) and conducting RCA and countermeasures for all breakdowns. - Knowledge of IATF requirements and system documentations, basic knowledge of GD&T and inspection equipment, and productivity improvement through TPM and Best practice implementation. Qualifications Required: - Technical: - Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Automobile) - 5-8 Years of Experience in automobile or machine building OEMs - Basic knowledge of shop floor operations - Sound knowledge in engineering drawing standards & Assembly drawings - Skills in IT Systems (MS Office, SAP, Autocad) - Behavioral: - Problem Solving Skills - Adaptability and flexibility - Willingness to learn - Integrity - Customer-centric Approach and Effective Communication Additional Company Details: You will be required to work on a 3-shift basis and interact with Shift leaders, Team Leaders, maintenance, Tool room, and other process people within the team. Ensuring proper shift handover to the next shift reliever and daily collaborative participation in real-time monitoring meetings like Bottleneck animation, cutting tools & Direct run rate meeting is essential. Taking self-initiatives on TPM activities along with Team leaders and maintaining the right communication with external parties like suppliers for quick resolution will be part of your responsibilities.,
