Job Summary:

HVAC Service Engineer

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience in HVAC systems.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and control systems.

- Proficiency in creating technical documentation like project schedules, progress reports, and site activity logs.

Note: Candidates from Design/Mechanical Engineering backgrounds are not preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance, Installation & Commissioning:

- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems and associated electronics.

- Oversee installation and commissioning of systems like VAV boxes, actuators, BTU meters, and VFDs.

- Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) operations across multiple sites.

Project Documentation & Reporting:

- Prepare detailed site reports including progress updates and commissioning records.

- Maintain documentation related to project schedules and completion milestones.

System Knowledge & Technical Support:

- Troubleshoot control systems and sensor integration issues.

- Understand and work with Building Management Systems (BMS).

- Provide onsite technical support and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Client Interaction & Mobility:

Visit client sites for system audits, installation, and servicing.

Travel across regions for site execution, client coordination, and commissioning support.

Work Conditions:

- Primarily field-based role with frequent travel for site visits, client meetings, and service activities.

- Candidate should be open to working in varied locations as per project requirements.

Preferred Experience:

- Exposure to HVAC control systems and BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Schneider, or Siemens.

- Experience working with sensors, actuators, and electronic controllers used in HVAC systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address onsite issues promptly.
