Human Resources Associate

As a Human Resources Coordinator at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain filing systems, type office correspondence, and distribute mail. You will also be in charge of ordering and tracking Human Resources office supplies and forms, answering phone calls, and recording messages. Additionally, you will create new employee personnel files and assist walk-in candidates with application procedures. It will be your duty to maintain the space designated for completing applications, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and accessible to individuals with disabilities. You will need to address questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines. Keeping confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information will be crucial. You will also be responsible for accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms. Following all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, and ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information are essential aspects of this role. Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager will be part of your responsibilities. Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, communicating clearly and professionally, and developing positive working relationships with others are also key elements of this position. The preferred qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience. No supervisory experience, license, or certification is required for this position.
