Role Overview:

The HR Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This role involves overseeing HR processes, implementing policies and procedures, managing HR systems, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management:

  • Define and implement KPI and KRA frameworks across departments.
  • Monitor employee performance and support managers with evaluation tools.

Payroll & Compliance:

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, and statutory filings.
  • Liaise with external consultants or auditors for HR compliance matters.

HR Operations:

  • Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain HRMS and employee records accurately.
  • Handle attendance, leave management, and employee database maintenance.
  • Ensure smooth execution of HR policies and procedures.

Employee Engagement & Culture:

  • Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for grievance handling and conflict resolution.

Talent & Organization Development:

  • Support talent acquisition and workforce planning.
  • Assist in designing training and development programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in HR Management or related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in setting KPI/KRA frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
